Our teams ashore with dedicated Superintendents for the individual customers are responsible for the vessel’s condition including maintenance and repairs, budgeting, vetting, compliance with regulatory requirements, dry docking, and – smooth operation. A worldwide first-class network supports us.

In order to further expand our Technical Fleet Management team, we are looking in Hamburg for a



  • Responsible for the technical and commercial management of the assigned vessels in our container and bulk carrier fleet
  • Regular on-board/ inspection visits and monitoring of vessels’ overall condition, operation and performance
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate repairs and shipyard periods
  • Prepare and monitor the budget of vessel operating costs and ensure compliance with prescribed regulations
  • Coordinate with vessels senior staff and evaluate crew performance


  • Very good technical knowledge and interest in commercial contexts
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in general ship operation of Container and/ or Bulk vessel
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of project work/ repair projects and class renewals
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, decision making and leadership skills
  • Communicative, open-minded, good inter-cultural skills and appreciate working in a team
  • Highly flexible, stress resistant and able to demonstrate conceptual thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge of the legal aspects of shipping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, statistical reporting and database management
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide
